I certainly hope. I know there have been many posts on this, and my RO is unconcerned he says.

2.1 after 9 months.

Jan. '15: 1.7,
May '15: 1.4,
Sep '15: 2.1

I'd guess your PSA is still settling in. I haven't had this happen to me (yet) and I could see how it would be rather disconcerting. But like you've said, there have been loads of posts on this and I think if your RO is unconcerned you should be as well. On to Dec 15!

Yes, it's upsetting to see a bounce, but likely it's just a temp thing. I bet the next PSA test is lower.

One way of thinking of it is that a ton of PC cells have just died of the radiation and have released a bunch extra PSA into your system. As the clean up crews move through your body, you're PSA will drop again.

Dewayne, I'm guessing , having been around here as long as you have, that you know in your heart it's highly likely that it's a typical PSA bounce, but still unnerved, only because it's a natural reaction for most people.
Follow your ROs lead, he's seen a lot of this, and I'm sure would not tell you no worries if he had any concern that this is something unexpected

Hey Dewayne,

Just went through this the last five months. Was tough.

Doc told me was too early for the cancer to be back, people told me it was a bounce, but in the back of my head I was sure the cancer was back. But, it wasn't.

Dewayne: I am sure you have looked at a lot of bounce histories. That said, your next PSA or maybe, even the one after that should be the downward trend we all look forward to. The anxiety in between is so tough but know that other Brachy brothers are pulling very hard for you and watching your progression. We are in this, together.
