I wanted to be careful to point out that it's not new, because some patients and even some insurance companies, are prone to calling it "investigational." Several thousand men have been treated. A nine-year report will be presented next week at ASTRO (the longest follow-up reports for IMRT and HDR brachy monotherapy are ten years), so it is hardly investigational. Inexplicably, insurance companies continue to reject it for that reason
