Today my daughter Rachel and I celebrated our same day birthday, and the whole family along with boyfriend and girlfriend went to dinner.
Rachel ran the NYC Marathon yesterday, and she knows I always wished I could run it with her but my knees wouldn't carry me.
So she surprised me by entering us both in the Stash Dash, a November 14th 5K race for Prostate Cancer to celebrate Movember. Very excited. Great gift

Yeah, the dinner was great Andrew. Chicken Parm with Spaghetti. I ate everything that flies in the face of every diet thread on this forum. And the dessert, oh, the dessert....And i wasn't struck by lightening Everything in moderation.
On the running. You should put down the saw, and the pen, just for a few minutes, and try running. Its good for the prostate and good for the soul. (oh, and when i say running, i mean walking fast) If you think I can actually run a 5k, well, you are sorely mistaken. Then knees just wont do it

Keep exercising and if you want or need to lose weight, do what over half the worlds population does. Go to bed hungry! It works, I have trouble sleeping doing it. But I use my will and persist, finally sleep, wake up and am exhilarated by the fact that my mind led the body rather than vicc a versa. Knowing that you are not alone in this endeavor also provides a powerful incentive. Also stay away from the high caloric , low nutritious food,{
cookies,et al}. Cardio is the key to all exercise... its incarnations are various. May as well start now so that you maintain youth into the aging process. Its not as counterintuitive as you think. Oh and walk tall. Posture is so important. So what if folks think you are trying to look important. You know you no need try if you sense your own and others importance. Per usual this post is intended for the threader andanyone who feels it may be true for them. Anyone else should ignore it...even the threader if it doesn't quite fit...

Actually, logos, I wanted to say, it seems from your posts since you returned, that you hiatus was spent working on your prose, and making it more understandable, to simple men, like me. ;-)

We are all in a state of becoming and are never the same from one day to the next. The real point is what are we individually becoming and whether the trend is positive or negative and {more arguably} if we feel we have any control over fate or are just "victims or beneficiaries" of same. I'll leave that point at that... Since interactions are equations of a sort, it may be it is a move...meant of change on both sides.
