Hi everyone, holding your arms over your head for nearly 40mins is a bit hard, but managed to get through it, this scan showed what the previous two Bone/CT scans did not, I have 3 small lymph nodes which have Pca, my Oncologist said that if I had not had this scan, he would have had to tell me that there is Pca somewhere, but they could not find it, until it had progressed to a size that the regular scans could see.
I am most grateful that this was available to me, as it looks like the Pca has not got out of hand yet, my Oncologist, said that he wished to study the images with his team, and would ring me, in regards to proposed treatment.
He said the treatment would be via the CyberKinife, or he was leaning towards Casodex tablets combined with Zoladex implant,...ok I don't like the fact that this beast has reared it's head, and am a bit nervous on how the HT will affect my life, but doing nothing is not an option, so will comply with whatever my team decide, reading the side effects of HT is a bit of a worry, but I may not get all of them.
This is all I know at the moment.
Regards Mal.
