HDR 1 year post-treatment update

I had my 12 month follow up with my uro today. My PSA is now down to 1.51. I'm pretty much back to normal on urinary and sexual function. I had some issues with both over the last 12 months, but things have been pretty good for the past month. My uro related to me that his HDR patients seem to have less severe side effects than his LDR guys.

Great news. I am nearly five years after HDR and have done wonderfully well...you will too.

congrats on getting the results you were hoping for. Your due diligence paid off.

you have come a long way since we shared an Uber ride at UCLA.

Your post reminded me it's been a year for me too since I had my final Provenge treatment pn 11-03-14 and my final SBRT fraction on 10-20-14.

Also doing great and have been on IHT since end of April.

Thanks for posting, Hawaii.

Coincidentally, had blood drawn today for my 6 month post HDR PSA test.

Hope to see the same trend you're showing.
