Squirting pee during sex

Hello:

I had surgery (robot radical prostatectomy) on October 2, 2015. I have been fully continent since the catheter was removed October 7th. It was my understanding that going forward any orgasm would be dry.

This has not been the case for me. Pee squirts out. This is extremely disconcerting! Has anyone else had this issue? My first thought, after speaking with the nurse, was to increase the kegel exercises. Any suggestions and insight would be most appreciated.

Same for my hubby. Lessens over time. I recommend steamy shower fun. Then nobody notices...

Yep, that happens. Sometimes it goes away, sometimes not. It's hard to fix.

I usually recommend two things: first, empty your bladder before sex (a no-brainer, I realize), and second, learn to say the word climacturea (cly Mack chur Ee uh) with a proper slightly-fruity Monty Python British accent, as in

"Sorry m'dear, spot of climacturea there, what? Can I get you a towel... or a breath mint?"

You mean you can have an erection and orgasm just 2 months out? Without even pumps or injections? Wow, you are really doing great!

As for peeing, yep. 2 years later not only are there zero signs of any natural erection even with pills, but I have to be very careful about even having a sexual thought if standing up, I will probably leak some. And on that rare orgasm, I will probably still shoot. Not what I used to shoot, but I will shoot. Even if I emptied a few minutes before.

My man, you are a superstar. 6 weeks out and you are having sex and having orgasms, bloody brilliant. Once I was able to "perform" I noticed a few climacturea moments, but the issue resolved itself over the many months Orgasms eventually became dry except for some Cowper Gland juice - the old pre-cum stuff!

I'd say persevere; if the "wetness" bothers you a bit try using condoms for awhile.

I am extremely fortunate to be continent and have erectile function at this stage. It is strictly a function of the advice that I have been given, the skill of my surgeon, and his recovery protocol. He didn’t tell me about the pee though!

My primary care physician (who had the surgery six years earlier) told me to do the kegels every day and get in the best shape possible before surgery. He said that those two things would help with the incontinence and erectile function.

I ran 20 – 25 miles/week and did kegels every day for the month before surgery. After surgery, I walked two (2) miles per day for the week with the catheter in place, and now walk five (5) miles each day. I haven’t been released yet to run or return to the gym.

I had surgery at MSKCC (Memorial Sloan Kettering) in New York City. They have a well developed post surgery sexual health program that I have been following. Once the catheter is removed, you take 25 mg of Viagra for six days and 100 mg one day per week.

Supposedly, in 6 – 12 months erectile function will return and the Viagra will no longer be needed.

Hopefully, this is true.

4 years after Devinci i still have that problem, some pee on orgasm, but i have no erections still, but when i do orgasm they are much more intense than before op......

just a thought. Buy some self-catheters. You can empty your bladder completely and have no worries of it at all.\
