It has been a few years!
Nine years out from IMRT as my primary and only treatment. The past 5 years or so, the old PSA has bounced around between 0.5 and 0.7. As of last year we decided to just do yearly PSA's. We're hoping that, with luck, something else will get me before prostate cancer........
Just about this time last year, I lost my wife of 37 years to Parkinson's Disease. If you are lucky, you will understand the huge void that has left. But I'm doing better.
At 62 I'm mostly retired, though I still find myself in the office four or five days a month. That has actually been a blessing. It is great fun to work with the younger engineers and help to solve problems that I didn't create. Plus, I'm gouging them as a consultant to the consultants!
Last summer and fall I fly fished my ass off here in the west. It was something I hadn't been able to do for the past few years while caring for my wife. This year I hope to do more of the same and I have been shamelessly contacting friends from the east coast to the west coast cadging invites!
I hope all is well with all of you.
