Today is the three year anniversary of my husband's robotic surgery!
It was a whirlwind of emotions and decisions that began in December of 2012 (57 years old), and although it was a tough journey, my husband was a trooper through it all. He was diagnosed a Gleason 6 and upgraded to Gleason 7 after surgery.
We are so grateful for his surgeon and the assurance that he gave my husband throughout the process that everything would be ok. We feel very blessed and humbled by the whole experience.
I try to give back by answering the questions that I can on this forum, and know that all of you good people out there battling this horrible disease are always in my prayers.
My husband continues to be "undetectable" - life is back to our "new" normal.

Great news. You can now put it behind you somewhat and live your life, just be watchful.

Love reading the positive posts of all the different treatment choices with the varying stages of this awful disease. It's great to keep the hope alive for those of us diagnosed more recently.
Thanks Annie for your update...Jim
