March Tests

Let's start posting those March test results....give us all reason to celebrate, pat each other on the back and give out hugs of joy for those with great results....and words of encouragement and more hugs for those needing it...

Here is to another month....one filled with zeros!!

Met with doctor late last week - he's undetectable! Good luck and lots of good numbers to all of you this month!

I stopped Lupron shots and stopped taking Zytiga pills at end of April.

PSA remains undetectable and T is very slowly on the rise, up to 40 but still a long way from low end of normal T = 300.

Fortunately no fatigue

Feb 29 PSA <0.04. 1 year since surgery. YAY

I'm checking in with a 0. Feb 29 blood draw but close enough.
Planning on dropping Casodex now after my prescription runs out!

I am still awaiting results of a cytology exam.
This is due to a nasty bladder bleed after straining during a bm, 6 weeks ago. The bloody urine totally resolved within hours.

But I am very nervous about the results. A positive result is HIGHLY indicative of an aggressive cancer somewhere (kidneys or bladder, most likely, and probably not PC).

The test (a urine test) is done at some other lab (they send out the urine). Dr. said it would take about a week. This was done Tuesday last week. If doctor doesn't call me tomorrow, then I won't know anything until next week (their office is closed on Friday).

I can call the office tomorrow, I guess, but for some reason (fear?) I probably won't!

Gary's PSA was not the best news. It was over 1300. Will give entire MO appt recap in another thread, because the results from CAT scan were very strange!
