Decisions Any Input

I have to figure this out. Should I stay on in the Avodart and wait this out or go to Moffitt, Mayo or some other or center. Stay with Dattolli? Thought I beat this but now decisions. Reoccurrence .8 two weeks ago. .4 six weeks ago and nil six months ago.

Both of you had surgery so it wouldn't be a bounce in the sense of what happens when radiation is the initial treatment. As I understand, PSA progression following surgery, SRT, and ADT indicates systemic disease.

You can wait until the PSA gets to the point that various scans can locate the mets and then treat them accordingly or begin treatment as soon as the PSA progression so indicates. If I were in your shoes, I would be finding a very good PCa medical oncologist that has a lot of successful experience treating systemic disease.

As to the treatment it will probably include ADT but may also use chemotherapy as it is being introduced earlier in the treatment regimen with success.

I know I've seen Sylvester/U of Miami associated with a lot of good clinical trials. I can't think of a specific name there. Perhaps call and ask them who specialized in prostate cancer oncology.
