My surgery was done this past Monday, 3/21. Discharged the next afternoon. Dr. tells me and wife the surgery was boring, nothing that surprised him and that is how he wants it. Tolerating the catheter much better than expected, with some swelling down there, but no pain. I have received preliminary pathology report and it couldn't be better. Dr. believes it is all gone, but will get confirmation with next PSA. I know it can be difficult to decide on treatments for this disease, but even after having a few initial doubts about
my choice, it is looking better each day. I sought the ultimate power to help me arrive to my choice, and HE is never wrong. Thanks to all for your support and prayers. Will advise when I have all pathology results. Happy Easter to all. God is Great. Blessings to all.

Welcome to the other side, Mack. In a few days the catheter will come out, and life will improve daily after that. Soon you'll be looking in the rearview mirror at it.

Welcome to the other side. You'll be fine. Take some time to rest and heal and then move on with life.
You're doing great.

Mack- Congrats. Welcome to the other side. Try to walk as much as your body will tolerate to promote healing. I strongly recommend Dr. Mulhall's book (liked below) regarding post-surgery ED topics.

Welcome to the other side Mack! Walk, nap and walk some more. Just keep in mind that you just had major surgery and don't worry about
how fatigued you get. Happy Easter and God bless.

Once you dump Cathy life truly starts. Take it easy, watch Netflix and don't over do it.

Glad it all went well, soon the catheter will come out, its no biggie to get it removed. Walking, drinking lots of water and kegals as directed by your doctor will help regain continence. Remember it takes time
Gedman's link is a good one, take the time to look and learn
Best of luck!

Glad to hear your surgery was boring. A cancer diagnosis is "exciting" enough. Get to healing and start putting this whole thing behind you as best can. I'm sure we will shortly be welcoming you to the Zero Club. Best wishes and keep us informed.
