Any quality adjuvant Radiation experts and MOs near Davenport, Iowa?

I posted before about my friend from Iowa who was in a vaccine trial and had surgery 12/17/16 at NIH, he was my roommate after surgery. He is a 4+5, his pathology came back poor, 5 out of 41 lymph nodes positive locally (1 with small tumor amount was the closest, the other 4 had a very small but detectable amount) SVI positive, positive margins. Psa after 2 months was .08 and a month or so later .1 so it never reached undetectable. He just had a Multi-D meeting at NIH and the plan is to monitor the psa and in 3 months make a decision on a treatment plan based on the psa increase. He is pleased with that decision as he will have more time to heal from surgery and more time before starting any HT.

They suggested that he talk to some radiation experts in the Davenport, Iowa area to get their opinions as to whether they would even consider Adjuvant radiation should the psa come back as a very slow rise in 3 months. Should it come back as a fast rise they would recommend radiation as not being an option. If he were to consider the radiation it would have to be done locally as he is self employed and cannot be out of work long for daily traveling.

Does anyone have any suggestions of radiation experts near Davenport? Even one further might be ok for their opinion even if to far for using them.

Also either way HT is going to be part of his life whether best case short term if radiation is an option or a life long plan.

So does anyone know of a good MO specializing in this, in the Davenport area? For this I'm sure he can drive further if needed as this does not require the daily commitment.

His plan is to use NIH for the HT and perhaps look into clinical trials should they have some available for his situation. But it would not hurt to have others locally review his situation. He has seen an MO locally but my impression is he is not very well trained in PCa.

Thanks for the response Allen. At the NIH consult they did say that it is controversial as to radiation with his pathology, especially with more then one lymph node having been involved. They stated that perhaps out of 10 ROs MAYBE 5 might agree with TRYING radiation; again only if the psa is on a very slow rise in 3 months, perhaps .1 to .18. If .1 to perhaps.7 NIH said they would take the radiation off the table of options. They made it absolutely clear that the only reason to even consider it would be if he wanted to take a long shot at possibly avoiding HT for life. They thought at best it might be a 20 to perhaps 30% chance of success, which of course leaves a high chance of failure and perhaps additional SEs to deal with. But they thought he should seek out ROs within his area of Davenport to talk to and ask in the meantime to see if they would even radiate with his pathology because if he could not find any close enough for him to have the daily treatments no sense wasting to much time considering this option. He may not go that route anyway if there is only a 20% chance.

I was hoping someone on this site who lives in the Davenport, Iowa area may have some leads on any ROs that deal with radiation after surgery that they may have confidence in. Also if anyone in the area has used any MOs that they are pleased with should he need a lifelong treatment plan with HT, just to give him more information and options in case he does not want to use NIH at some point or should he be unhappy with their treatment plan after the 3 month psa.
