Last week about halfway into 43 RT's, my husband said he was told they would now only be radiating his prostate in what they called "boost". Monday he said they had to rescan him because his rectum had shifted. They do scans daily as part of the treatment, so I don't know what was different about this one. Today the RO told him the rectum had shifted because his prostate had shrunken so much. The nodes are no longer enlarged or are as he said "gone" (I'm getting this second hand). The RT was thrilled and so were we. He's had no SE from ADT or RT and should finish treatments on 5/23. He'll get CT and MRI 6/1 and then meet with the MO to setup Docetaxel, but things are looking great at the moment. We really appreciate all the support and advise this forum provides. Hope it's a great day for everyone else!

Mary, that is a great report. Pat him on the back and let him know we are all glad he is responding so well to the treatment.
