Rising PSA with no Prostate.

I have a brother who I wanted to provide some advise to. Is there anyone here in the same predicament?

That is a good PSA #. Mine is at 0.192 and has been climbing at a steady pace. Because I have had my prostrate removed my number is a concern. I have a bone scan in June to make sure the cancer has not spread to my bones which will require chemo..

about 30% of radical surgeries fail, so it's pretty common. It's called a "biochemical recurrence." What he can do about it depends on what he's already had done, his path report,his PSA, and other diagnostic tests.

And besides ADT and Chemo, what other options are out there?

Salvage radiation can be done with or w/o ADT and with or w/o pelvic radiation. But if it's called for depends a lot on what his PSA is doing and his post-op pathology. What's his PSA pattern? What kind of full body imaging has he had? Has he already had SRT? Did it include pelvic LNs? has he had PLND or ePLND? you have to provide a lot more info to get a reasonable answer.

Thanks Guys and yes I do get the sense of urgency and you have have to realize that he and I are only communicating via emails and not like every day. The info I provided was all he had provided me and yes he is consulting with his Oncologist and I can only assume that some of these options have been discussed. I was seeking out others who may have traveled down this road and who may offer some other suggestions. And again thanks for the advice.
