I have PSA of 40 and no symptoms. Doctor wants a biopsy. what are the treatment if cancer found. how much time off work for treatmen

George, a PSA of 40 is certainly a cause for concern. Understand that PSA is not exactly a cancer test. It is a test that says "something is going on down there". Biopsy is the usual next move to determine what that something is.

If you tell us where you are located, and anything more about you, such as your age, what previous PSA readings might be (if you have any), where you are located, then we'll know enough to steer you in a good direction.
