Thanks for posting - Always interesting to read these stories. While I follow a mostly vegan diet, I believe that added sugar and most processed foods are much more detrimental to health than meat. I suspect this women ate a fairly natural diet. It's too bad that the media has a tendency to pick up on only one element of people's lifestyle to explain longevity. While genetics undoubtedly plays a part, I believe there is much to learn from people who live extraordinarily long lives.
