Follow the link to read a story about the Siteman cancer center in St. Louis. It included some facts that I didn't know...

Siteman is in the top 5 NCCN comprehensive cancer centers by patient count.
It is one of the few "exceptional" centers in NCI (National Cancer Institute) rankings.
They are one of the pioneers in Immunotherapy, and were involved the first successful sequencing of a cancer genome.

And, in my view, they may be one of the least well known cancer centers of excellence in the country. Outside of the midwest, who knows about them?

I know it, but then again I grew up in St Louis.
My impression is that in the medical community, Wash U/Barnes-Jewish/Siteman is seen as in the top handful of medical centres in the country (world).
Thanks for the articlle. Among other things a fascinating, inspirational look at a quiet, unassuming donor making a huge difference.
Has summer heat and humidity hit the area yet?

Joe, in a word, yes, summer has arrived. "mostly sunny, hot and humid with a chance of afternoon thunderstorms" is the morning weather forecast for pretty much every day.
