I know he's had some issues, but am hoping he's doing ok. Does anyone know? I miss his thought provoking and inspirational posts! If you're out there Jordan, hope you're doing ok!

I've also wondered about
John Keats. Hope they and others with advanced disease are doing well.

I too have been wondering about
Jordan. His blog has not been updated lately either.

I received an email awhile back. He was recovering from back surgery (compression fracture from mets I think). I haven't heard from him lately. I'm sure he could use some healing thoughts and prayers.

Sorry, But I guess I missed this. I see that JPENN passed away in July. I just wanted to say that my first post on HW was at 9:00 AM on 3/4/16 stating my diagnosis. I was all over the place. JPENN (jordan) was the first responder to my first post at 9:10AM that same day. He, along with others on HW, calmed my fears and set me on an educated path. Jordan responded to many of my posts, always showing his concern and offering his best wishes. I have missed him and will continue to miss him.

That man's vibes are everywhere. It didn't take a lot of what he had....to reach far and wide. I know it reached (and still reaches) me.

I remember when he got really mad about
something on the forum about
some thing....Cant remember what ...but his passion impressed me and feel I understood where he was coming from but...
you fight against the other incompletely on this side of a dimensional slide...it only is when you have transfigured is your song sang....he is with us as we speak.... "fools ask for reasons...wiseman never try"

We didn't have Jordan with us here on HW very long, not near long enough; but I'm betting he did very little without the kind of passion we saw from him here, and I'm sure his community is sorely missing him as well.

Here is a link to his obituary

.
His positive attitude and strength had a very big impact on me. Leave a note on his OB if he made an impact on you too.

Oh, crap. Wasn't he diagnosed fairly recently? Really not the news I wanted to see. And reading his obituary, I see we shared the same Birthday (different year)

Pratoman,
To answer your question, I'm fairly certain Jordan was diagnosed Summer or Spring of 2015.
RIP JPenn
