Back from Vacation

Back from a week at Lake Tahoe.

Just wanted to say that I managed to resist the urge to log in every day and say, "I am on vacation."

Welcome back Andrew. Lake Tahoe is a beautiful place. I've taken a number of summer trips there (I don't ski), always stayed at the Hyatt on North Lake

Welcome back. I love Tahoe. I have gone in July to escape the heat in Houston. I remember being very cold on July 4 one year.

Prat - I generally stay on the west shore, but did make a couple of day trips up north. We did go around to Sand Harbor for a little kayaking.
81 - Thanks for your kind words, no sure I have that much of an impact, but thanks for the vote of confidence.
rob2 - there was still snow on the higher mountains around the lake. It's rare, but it has snowed on the lake in late June and even July. We were lucky this year to get warm (not hot) weather and clear skies.
