Sorry to see the NY Times report the fact that fewer men are being given PSA test might be causing more men to be diagnosed with advanced PC and at the same time it might be wrong. But the title of the article is misleading “Flawed Study of Advanced Prostate Cancer Spreads False” when you read all of the Times article.
It might just be me because: I got a DRE (standard care) with my physicals every year till last year. Had to get a new doctor and with his physical the PSA test was standard; it came back 181 and I ask him what does that mean?
