Actually, Bolo, I rarely know what you're talking about. I assure you there is no malice intended. I usually enjoy reading your writings, even if I have no idea what you're saying.

Yes, Bolo, I agree that your intention is not to be a troll. I think you have a good (and somewhat whimsical) heart.

The main problem is your posts are so difficult to understand. They leave you very open to interpretation and sometimes I can understand how people might think you are trolling when in fact you are just communicating poorly.

I know you believe you communicate clearly, perhaps your style works in your community or worked well in your workplace (or there are certain people tuned to your wavelength) but given the quizzical reactions your get on many posts from a variety of posters I think you may need to re-examine your belief...

The thread is not about me...tho it derives from my experience here...again I can not nor do I wish to control how folks react to the words I write...My other post on this subject.i.e.understanding or not, is as clear as I can or wish to make it...The link btw could considered a troll itself...its nasty looking and something a troll would write and it is self realizing....Too many trolls..too few bridges... I do appreciate the responses in any mode however...I doubt if many understand this post...BTW prato's last sentence is classic trolling...not malicious...just his way of expressing his distaste...not for the thread...I mean it gave him that release...not for me...but for who... I THINK... I am...That sentence{mine} pretty well says it all as to how and why I get the reactions{operative word react/recoil/pre judge/ no tink...lidat} I do...I will try to keep future posts on topic {pca}...there are things that just can't be communicated...Of course y'all will interpret this as some plea for attention...and so it goes.... ps AN38 im not going to Australia...I guess i communicated poorly there as well...tee hee....tho I have been to NZ and loved it...I did watch On The Beach {not the remake} last night....so good...so good...

I think people rarely think about the subject of "On the Beach" any more, we have for the most part blocked it. But it is still here, a sword of Damocles.

I'm glad others responded with posts, ..anyway I was not sure I understood it ,but whatever, i do get it..sort of, and agree to most of it. I think I understand trolling a little better now that you brought it up. I genuinely love your "wordsmithing" thing, make me think, and your references to movie lines, and advice from time to time, and your non-trolling

BillyBob ...you may want to fast forward the original movie on You tube to that song as it appears in the love scene between Peck and Ava Gardner...it encapsulates everything... I also understand the book is a bit different from the movie and that Nevile Shute did have some problems the way the movie was presented...

TimG...not understanding..."meaning is use"...if it helps you...I do not see any word as ordinary...even the word itself...unless it is extra ordinary ...are their "ordinary" people?...not in my perspective...we are all extraordinary...but there I go...exposing words to too much light...hence shielding them from darkness...
