Menopause vs Androgen Deprivation Therapy.

Five years ago I started my ADT and from what I was told, it was not a plesant experience for those around me. And here I am now facing the same monster that I harbored not so very long ago. Is this what they call "poetic justice "?

Well, based on the level of empathy/sympathy Mrs Newt has (didn't have) for my Hot Flashes et al, I've already warned her that I'm buying a squirtgun to help with her hot flashes when it's her turn...

Mind you ... she did say I am cranky though...

When describing ADT to a woman, characterizing it as making me a girl, she replied "come on, it's not that bad", (being a girl).

My wife had leg surgery (vein bypass) earlier this year and I had to be the house-husband, cleaning, cooking doing laundry etc. I told her I didn't mind since I was turned into a female thanks to ADT

Estradiol patch twice weekly does a good job of curtailing hot flashes. M

My wife said I was a much kinder gentler person when I had no testosterone. Now that it has returned I am trying to act more like the eunuch I once was.

Gary used to tell his medonc that HT caused him to have no energy. To which he replied "no energy is dead, and I know women who run marathons with your t level."
Not much sympathy there
