Artist Mark - I "hear you" about the anger. I've been trying to deal with my own anger since I received "the call." It isn't easy, and you've got other drivers to make it even worse. As another new guy here, I get it.

I have made my treatment choice, as TA put it, with the best information and options available to me now. I did the same thing with major heart surgery 5 1/2 years ago. New treatments are in the pipeline for both, but I have no buyers' remorse. . . only my lingering anger that I am where I am. If Elizabeth Kubler-Ross is at all right, though, we will all pass through this phase and eventually find acceptance of where we are. I wish you a speedy journey to that place.

So it looks like we are all so driven to improvement by technology.....faster...better...cheaper. Except for PCa treatment? Give me a break. TA posts some great information that uses improved technology to get faster...better....cheaper and you all go off on him. Well so will I. I am biased to HDR brachytherapy....having learned from Intel founder Andy Grove. I think HDR mono therapy is much better than either SBRT or hypo fractionated IMRT.
