New Year's Greetings To Everyone Here !

So --- in the last few days, I spent Christmas time with family and friends, back in my hometown. I've been walking by the local lake most days, even with winter weather here. Last night was a New Year's Eve reunion of my old college "brothers" from back in the day ...

My wish for each one of you reading here ... I hope that each one of you continues to face forward, as you continue pursuing treatments in the interest of your best health.

I'm thankful for the fraternal bonds of comaraderie and friendship and brotherhood that exist here, each day throughout the year.

May we all continue to reach out, to the best of our ability --- to brothers and sisters here who find themselves in a time of need. We've all been there ... and we all need this network of concern and compassion.

As well --- for those of you who read the forum frequently as a reader, we truly INVITE you to consider joining as an official member --- allowing you to contribute and post, as often as you would like. We have so many members who say, "Well, I've been reading here for quite a few months ... I finally decided to officially join today."

We welcome those readers to take the extra step and write up an introductory post in the New Year ... you'll be surprised how much support and comaraderie you will experience, once you start posting. Your story or first-hand experience could also end up truly helping another reader, as well. So, consider this a friendly invitation today, in honor of the New Year.

Happy New Year everyone! Lots of old faces and many new ones. It is always great to read good news; sad to read the not so good news. Ron is still in constant pain ( groin, shoulder, side). It would be nice if he got a break once in awhile. He is not dealing with cancer - we can be grateful about that. However, he is always feeling tired. Maybe we're just getting old?

May 2017 be a good year - a healthier year - for all of you!
