Halbert thread reminded me that today is exactly 2 years that I had my surgery. Same exact pathology as Halbert, going in, and same upgrade as him, coming out.
Glad I chose the route that I did, glad it all turned out well so far. And glad I found this place before I was even diagnosed.

I'm obviously due for my 2 year PSA, which is making me. Little nervous (what else is new), but am putting it off because of a persistent cold, which might cause inflammation leading to inflated result. I don't know this as a fact, but I'm not taking chances. Probably go next week.

Prato,
I certainly understand your apprehension and caution, but the fact is that with no prostate you have no need to fear PSA due to inflamation. Good luck with your check up. I have my 5 year check on Feb. 7th and I'm already evaluating every little ache and pain.

I know those PSA nerves are a killer, but I'm hoping you'll be celebrating yet another zero at this all-important 2-year mark. Thanks for being such a great support for everyone at HW - we truly appreciate it.

Prato - I have faith that you will do just fine. I had the blood draw for my first post-toastie PSA reading yesterday, and I have the same butterflies awaiting the result.

We'll be fine. Congratulations on your second anniversary!

Thanks all.

@Paxton, yup, that's the one side effect of surgery (Or radiation or any other treatment), that none of us escape, and the never goes away. Pre-PSA butterflies.
