Thank you again. Rick was so heartened by your posts that said his prognosis was excellent. We have never heard that from his oncologist - although he did talk to us about the procedure he has developed at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre in Calgary and its success rate. And, generally, he is a very positive person But nothing "personal" was ever said to Rick. The bottom line when we asked was that he (the oncologist) wouldn't know anything for a year. Which feels as if we are sitting on a powderkeg. I appreciate you do not know Rick's specific information - we do not know either but are determined to find out - but your knowledgeable, first-hand, real life experience and support has meant everything to us. It has given us a feeling that "we can do this" in a way we did not have before. I have another question about important things to make sure you ask the oncologist but assume if I do a search I will find that information here. Take care.
