Monday I had an appointment at Providence. Labs drawn, exam, Lupron shot, and Zometa infusion. I get called the next day. They lost my psa test. They said I could have another drawn but that would mean another 140 mile drive round trip. I said I was okay with skipping it until my next appointment and so were they. When is my next appointment? July 17. Wow.... bi-annual psa's

You may be happy to skip the current test, but if you really wanted it, couldn't the blood be drawn by your local GP and forwarded to Providence for testing?

Good Todd! My onco just switched me from every 4 weeks to every 8 weeks and it made me very happy. Also my uro changed my Eligard injection to a six month cycle instead of three months. These changes make it easier on me and I am sure most cancer patients would welcome the longer break between visits.

No worries Bro, and I know that you are not worried, just knowing you are still a zero, always keeping the Faith, You'll just check again biannually indeed! Right on, awesome attitude.wish I will get there. But still if you want, you can "borrow mine" now. Undetectable confirmed again yesterday!

I don't mind taking 6 months between PSA's but it might be a little stressful when that day comes. I guess it doesn't mattsr

Probably a good thread to mention that there are places around the country where you can get a free PSA test.

There many more places than these including the hospital where I run the UsTOO Las Vegas chapter - St. Rose Dominican San Martin Campus. Make sure you call before you go there as sometimes the free offering is on a specific day.

Todd there are two such places in Portland.

I can get a free psa at my cancer clinic in Portland. Who the heck wants to drive to this city. Not me that s for sure. I prefer to be cancer free until July. Really, this was my call. My last psa was in January. At the time it was Less than 0.01. Let's say hypothetically it was 0.008. If it started to rise the day after it was drawn (unlikely) and if it exhibited a 2 month doubling time today it would be 0.016, mid may it would be 0.032, and in July it would be 0.064. When considering the fact that my original number was 3216.29 seems the number is nothing to be concerned about.
