Advanced PC my trip so far

New to the forum, I live in the UK, I am 65 in May,in July 2016 I was diagnosed with PC I had a Gleason score of 9 PSA 893 and stage T4 I have mets in my left shoulder and right pelvis, maybe also bottom left rib, all not good.
Because of my condition I was offered a choice of two trials after some research I went with the Stampede trial. Which for those who do not know its three monthly injections of Prostap 3, six three weekly sessions of chemotherapy ( docetaxel ) and finally twenty sessions of radiotherapy over twenty days weekends off.
I am into the third week of the radiotherapy having completed the chemo.
I was not lucky with side effects suffering from most that was stated and hospitalised with neptrippena, but ( and I will proberly have to ) do it all again to stay on this planet.
I changed my eating regimes my drinking habits and started taking supplements all good for the prostate or anything to help lower my PSA which on my last test was 0.08.
Anyone who is in the same position as me I would like to hear from you as if I am missing some new Meds, or technech then I would be more than interested.
Any replies will be answered.

Hi Joeven - welcome to our forum. You've landed in a great place to ask questions and get some support, especially with your high risk/metastatic situation. Once the metastases have happened, the "risk" assessment from the Gleason score isn't very important, but it does highlight the aggressiveness of your case.

The STAMPEDE trial is really great. I'm hopeful that the combo of docetaxel and RT will work for you. If they know you are at risk for neutropenia, they can give you Neulasta prophylactically. I hope you have lighter side effects next cycle.
