Greetz, and welcome out. Been there myself.
2 & 1/2 years of Leuprolide chemo. Am almost back to normal pituitary function now, 2 & 1/2 years after the last dose of Eligard.
While I was on Luprolide, I was out with my Labrador Retriever for our daily 7 miles, while running at about
5.5 mph, I tripped on an exposed concrete sidewalk edge across the trail at a street crossing. I caught myself nicely enough with both hands palms down flat with my forearms face to the side, but my left hand and wrist got a bunch of "strange spiral" fractures parallel to the joins and my left pinkie knuckle exploded into many small shards. The ER docs were entertained with the novelty, but squealed on me to my team.
They hit me up with Prolia right away and gave me the lecture about
not breaking myself any more.
The hand works well enough, we just left the bone fragments in place. I had to quit a lot of my daily training regimen for a couple of years due to that injury. BTW, the side effects of the Prolia can be entertaining as well.
