Anyone living in Adelaide SA able to help someone after surgery next week?

The person lives in a suburb just 2 miles south of Adelaide center and is utterly alone. I am worried (that's my job) that this person will need some friendly support for a day or two.
I would have been a mess if I had been alone. It would be nice if someone stopped by and checked in.

Adelaide is the capital city of the state of South Australia, and the fifth-most populous city of Australia.

There are a number of Prostate Cancer Support Groups around Adelaide. The one at Mitcham would be a couple of miles south of Adelaide CBD, so may service the area of your person.

I just got this note:

"It's was supposed to be this tues but they called me that someone more urgent needs that time so mines postponed."
I don't know the new date.

What? Just like that you can have the surgery date changed?! That must be awful!
On the other hand you do have national health care so that is a plus.

Addition:
I just looked up Mitcham and see it is a 5 minute drive/ 42 minutes walk from their house. Close!
