My treatment was to start Tuesday the 11th but due to some issues that were unavoidable (but not a problem), are now scheduled to begin Monday, July 17th. The 5 treatment regimen will be done on Monday, Wednesday, Friday the first week followed by Monday and Wednesday the 2nd week. After the initial delay, I actually was given the option of beginning either tomorrow, the 13th or Friday, the 14th, but I decided to begin on Monday the 17th which will eliminate any consecutive treatment days and follow Dr Freeman's preferred protocol for minimal likelihood of adverse side effects and/or toxicity. So we are in the Orlando/Tampa area as planned and since we are not doing treatments this week, we are making the best of the time.....laying out at the pool, Sea world, Busch gardens, Aquatica, etc. Next week will be a little more serious....... smilewinkgrin

Next week may be a little bit more "serious" but I really doubt that it will cramp your style. During my treatment, I worked 5 days a week, including treatment days. I also went to the gym every day after work. My treatments ended Wednesday, the day before Thanksgiving. We had the whole family over for Thanksgiving dinner, and I was fully able to enjoy the celebration (in more ways than one). My wife and I also went on a winter holiday just a couple of weeks after the end of treatment, and other than my minor digestive issues, no problems.

Enjoy your time in Florida. We always enjoy it there, and this should be no different for you.

And thank you Andrew as well for the uplifting words. I am disappointed but realize it's only a few days and in the whole scheme of this process, it doesn't have much significance.

Hey Tarp , relax , after your first session its like a Florida breeze. You will be OK and enjoy the area.St.Pete beach is our favorite. A little city called Pass-a-Grille just around the corner from Johns Pass on the beach have some wonderful grooper at a place called the hurricane restaurant.My only SE after the 5th was I had to P sometimes in a hurry.Really no big deal.Dr.Freeman is world class as her team.You are in good hands.
