Mal, yes 2+ sounds about right, we’ll it was for me.
I also put on weight after my first year on Zoladex, so when I had to go back on after a 2 year break, I determined that wasn’t going to happen again, so I started to really watch my diet.
I have always exercised, albeit fairly mildly - a daily 4km walk, Golf a couple of times a week, and very light weights - so made sure I kept that up and thankfully I haven’t gained anything since going back on 9 months ago.
Diet wise, I mainly managed things via serving size. At 72, I really don’t want to deprive myself of the pleasures of life, so haven’t excluded anything, but have reduced the amount I eat. I still enjoy a glass of wine (or two), have an occasional small serve of bacon and egg for breakfast, and a small steak (150 gms) once in a while, but it's a very small piece of Tasmanian salmon, Thai style for dinner tonight!
It doesn't take a great deal of effort and it is worth it.
If my PSA gets back to zero then I’ll have another ADT vacation, but if not, then I’ll stick with it.
Good luck, Chas
