Okay.... so my metabolic panel were all field goals except for slightly low potassium. My PSA is non existent. Less than 0.01 yeah yeah yeah

Just got the CBC back an hour ago. Nothing was flagged but my Red count was under range by .5 and my Red cell width distribution width was also under range by a 1/2 a percent. Borderline anemic? Hard to say. Perhaps that is another reason for the fatigue and slight nausea I feel on a regular basis.

All in all I would have to say “not bad.” I have a couple things to work on but I am pleased.

Nice numbers, Todd. Don't worry about the RDW number. It's only a concern if high; in fact, the lower the better.

Glad to hear about you CBC. Congrats!

My husband got his yesyerday. Everything ok but a slight increase in PSA after radical robotic surgery in May. It was 0.05 and six months later, at present, it has come up to 0.05.
Very worried about it. Looking forward to seing the uro on December 27th.
Do you think he is at risk of rcurrence, guys?

Did his PSA ever go to undetected? Six months after surgery my PSA was .05 then .07, followed by .09, .10 and now .13. I am now at day 5 on a five week radiation session.

So similar cases yours and my husband's one.
I'm confused since the uro, six weekss after Da Vinci surgery, was happy about 0.04 PSA. He even said "it was considered as undetectable", but now, after reading posts here, I'm no sure about it.
Six months later, at present, his second PSA test reads 0.05. Is he then a candidate for radiation?

Vacation? Only in my dreams!
I had a hormone holiday in 2010. It took less than a year for my PSA to reach 24+ from undetectable levels.
My oncologist does not believe it is worth the risk. I am jealous of all my brothers who are able to participate in IADT. I hate all of you wink
Prostate cancer can take any of a dozen or so paths to proliferation I am told. Perhaps the strain I am forced to deal with knows only one road and the Zytiga has put up a road block. May it continue for another20 years. I do however have a concern as to what long term damage maybe being done to my body do to long term use of an oral chemotherapeutic. I guess time will tell

Yeah Todd that's what I understand also. I have been lucky so far that Firmagon and Casodex has been able to keep me undetectable for 3 years. I know that I will also have to go to Zytiga eventually. I am also concerned about the damage HT therapy is doing to our bodies. It pretty much adds 20 years to our age as I feel the aches and pains every day. The price to pay in order to stay alive
