Rectal Bleeding after Template Biopsy

I have just returned from hospital and having some rectal bleeding following a template biopsy carried out early this afternoon.

I understand that this is common from biopsies carried out through the rectum as I had this last year. I am, however, surprised that this is the case after a template biopsy.

The hospital was not very helpful in this matter and with the current A&E crisis in the UK (NHS). I would be very reluctant to have to attend A&E should this not improve.

Help very much appreciated. I understand that all advice comes with the usual caveats.
