Hi Healing Well Bros/Sis,
1.7.14 Uro called to say that I was Positive (crazy word, huh?) for PC.
As my sig below states: RP on 2.14.14 at IU Med Indianapolis.
Shocking Path report: pT3bN1 (1 of 22) G7(4+3).
Undetectable at 5 weeks, 0.06 three months later, 0.094 four weeks after that.
Lupron/Firmagon 18 mo & 39 SRT sessions.
Last monthly Firmagon shot was Feb. 2016 (two years next mo!)
PSA undetectable since! <0.1
I don't post a ton here (closing in on 100), but I am here most days and have and do really appreciate the help/support/comfort/info that you all share and give!
Also, I want to encourage all... especially those with a more aggressive diagnosis (like me) to keep researching, coming here, posting, asking, and find the health care providers that you like and can trust, that have an outside the "Box" philosophy with each patient. That look at you as their only care in the world, that really live/breath PC, for as we hear all the time on here one Dr says "well theirs only a few things we can do" while another says "heck with that...we're just getting started"
Stay Positive (that word again), as some have said on here, "really live the life out of every day"
each day is a true blessing and a chance to live & love!
Mike
