Those with negative biopsies - Chronic Prostatitis - nodules?

Just curious if anyone knows if non-bacterial chronic prostatitis show up as nodules on Ultrasound/MRI? For those who have had negative biopsy due to prostate nodules??

They certainly show up. Hemorrhages and other structural alterations are common from prostatitis.

They can even show up as PIRADS 4 and 5 on MRI's, although that is less common.

There are many causes for prostate lesions (anything not expected to be seen there), and, at this time, a biopsy is the only way to really test them for cancer.
