Nice post Todd. I can relate to your hunting experience and boys. I come from a hunting family. I was to busy with my business to go hunting with my dad. We had several good years but then he was gone. I have a son that was a pain in the ass also. was told once that if he didn't grow up by the time he is 50, then worry. He was not a great dad for his son either. At 49 he finally straightened up, got a good wife and a good job. His son now lives next door to him where he can enjoy his grand kids daily. This year, son and grandson each have GSP pointing dogs that I am helping to train. We all hunted 3 to 4 days a week together during quail season this year. I opted for RARP in July 2017 just so I could be hunting with my kids by October. Live every day as it comes and get the best out of it. You never know what the future holds.

Todd -
Exceptionally well written piece, as usual.
Don't sell yourself short, you really did look the sharp dressed man.
Don't be surprised if some modelling offers start coming in the mail!

It was one heck of an experience. I met some terrific people and had a slight altercation with a real jerk also. He was a very angry human being that did not like the way I was dressed in my suit. New York is a cray-cray place
