There's a lot of Lupron stories around here. You could probably put either "Lupron" "ADT" or "HT" in the search bar. As for SEs, having no testosterone is not a lot of fun. Most guys have tremendous hot flashes. Your libido disappears. I also just felt old and creaky and I was in my early 50s at the time.
On the plus side, for most of us it stops the PCa in its tracks. If I'm reading your story correctly, you recurred 12 years ago and during that time your PSA has only climbed to 5.56? On one hand, I'm surprised the doctor did not put you on Lupron sooner, although it also looks like you've had many SE-free years as a result, which is nice.
If I may ask, how old are you and what was your initial diagnosis?
