Hello,
Have had BPH since October 2014. Been on finasteride and flomax since.
Now seeing a slow down in flow when going to the bathroom.
Hopefully don't need tha procedure that hones out your prostate, think it's called TURP.
Any thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

They also have what is called Green Light Laser which is far less invasive.

I had a TURP several years ago. With Laser treatment, like Green Light, TURP's are performed far less frequently, so surgeons with lots of recent experience are very rare.
I would talk to the Laser people and consider it carefully if I were doing it again. Good luck!

Thank you!
Was afraid of that. Not real bad yet but notice a difference.
Hoping there was another drug to use other than flomax.
Over the few years finasteride brought down my prostate from 55g to about
30g.
When I went off finasteride for 3weeks last year the prostate went to around 55g so I went back on it and it is back to 30g or so. I know three weeks should not make a difference but it did.
