Need Atlanta Info

Hi Guys:

I have a friend of a friend who lives in Atlanta and is looking for an excellent urologist. He is just starting his journey with an elevated PSA so wants this done right. Any advice re Atlanta urologists will be greatly appreciated.

My regular urologist is Dr. Brian Hill and has privileges at both Northside Hospital and Emory-St. Joseph’s which is my home base hospital. He is very good and will be very confident, levelheaded, and not reactionary. he does not rush to biopsy by any means. He’s very good in his cancer consultation and education. He doesn’t do robotic and referred me to Dr. Martin Sanda who is the Chairman of Urology at Emory School of Medicine. I’ve consulted with him twice and he has offices at both big Emory in Decatur and on campus at Emory-St. Joseph’s. They are part of the Winship Cancer Center. The preliminary consultation as newly diagnosed included a consult with radiation oncologist. So the Center has a team approach.
