Yeah, lost a friend to PC last month, age 78, no psa tests after 2010, metastatic when found, lived 6 months.
A neurosurgeon, no less.

My psa not checked from 2013 to 2017, =20 and T3a when diagnosed.

Is this saving medicare treatment costs at the expense of lives?

I posted this doctors quote on the other thread; however, I am posting it again because I feel it succinctly addresses what is wrong with the task force’s recommendations:

“What the task force did in 2012, they decided that knowledge is bad, rather than saying knowledge should be met by more knowledge and education.”
