I was always a guy who enjoyed a good meal. But I was never a sweets guy. More a good steak, or even a turkey sandwich.
But strange as it may seem, since a little while after my surgery 3 years ago. I find myself needing a sugar fix especially near the end of the day, every day. Especially ice cream and chocolate (milk, dark doesn’t do it). I’ll sometimes have fruit, but that doesn’t do it for me.
I was NEVER LIKE THIS BEFORE PROSTATE CANCER.
So I know this is crazy, and totally unscientific. But I started thinking, about
I’ll I’ve read regarding sugar feeds cancer, and glucose, insulin growth factor, etc. Lately it’s been making me wonder if whatever cancer I have in my body that’s producing small amounts of PSA, could be making me crave sugar. Crazy, I know, but not out of character for me
Anybody else have this experience?
