Your Elite title is so well deserved. You put out the fire on my head when I was first diagnosed and overwhelmed. Thank you and the other "less than elite" members here for helping me and so many others

Let's give the Tall One super-elite status now. And, as I have previously suggested, there is a way to recognize this status. Instead of showing only the last ten posts (which means that us once/day visitors may miss some words of wisdom from those posting more than ten times a day), why not show, for the super-elite, the last two days of posts? In any case, merci beaucoup and grazie tanto to Tall.

and we all know how important that is.

and while it would be nice to be "elite", "moderator" is just so cool.

someday I'd like to be "elite" but at my posting rate, that will take another year.

I'll just say thanks for the 6-8 posts/responses from you that guided me towards SBRT. I hadn't really considered it for more than a second or two and was scheduled for surgery when you suggested I check it out.

I am very grateful!

Allen, we had to check the bylaws to determine the extra perks you get with Elite status. To my knowledge, David (Purgatory) is our only other Elite member so I'm sure he will correct me if I am wrong. First of all you are now entitled to a 50% increase in your salary -- please do not spend it all in one place. Secondly, you may now wear the star with oak leaf cluster on your new HW t-shirt (it's in the mail). Finally, we have spoken with your uro and your finger wave will now only occur every other year and he will start wearing gloves.

In all seriousness, we sincerely appreciate the "elite" advice that you provide on a daily basis!

In July 2012, the administrator of another forum sent me an email saying that my posts were too informative and might have an off-putting effect on other posters. They told me to not show any evidence for my assertions (even though there were no rules against it). I immediately left that forum.

Did Kongo mutate to Tall Allen as he jumped from one forum to this one?

Tall enough to rise above any negativity or impunity and hang in as the most respected and referred to advisor (as well as the most educated, IMHO, in current tx and trials), in the PCa arena, for more than six years!

And though I've said it many times before, thank you mods. for all you do. You should also get a raise.😏
(When I was a newbie to HW, I called you mediators, and was corrected. But I may have had a valid moniker without realizing it!).

Congrats on the well deserved eliteness status.,You are always that in many of our eyes, and hearts. I am amazed at you constant responses in details ,and with all the references to the studies that are out there. It takes a pretty keen, knowledgeable and sensible mind to even go through one of those and dechiper and translate and summarize it! Congrats and thanks again for the countless hours you dedicate to this site, and thanks that that other site that admonished you into jumping ship to HW. I hope to meet up with you one of these days,after all were both in beautiful So Cal!

Thanks, WOE. Yes, I recently got pulled into the HealthUnlocked for Advanced PC site. There are a huge number of posters there - it fills my mailbox everyday. I'm learning who is worth responding to and who is just pedaling internet garbage. Because of my blog, it is very easy to just pull an article and say - "read this." I have a huge backlog of articles to write, however. I much admire Mike Scott on the Prostate Cancer Infolink site who just cranks them out at a dizzying pace, with consistently good quality.

I usually go to support group meetings at the Cancer Support Community Benjamin Center on Bundy nr Olympic. I will miss the meetings for the next 2 months, however. But maybe we can meet up there.

TA- Attaboy, from another "newer" member who is always in awe of your knowledge and willingness to share with the rest of us. "Elite" is a pretty good status.
