6 years post surgery PSA creeping up

My post-surgery PSA was "<.03" for the first 4 years, but last year it was .04, and my just-received 6 year PSA is .07. Last year my uro said to ignore the .04. I have an appointment with the uro later this month, and I will see what he has to say this year.

Likely, he'll just say, "Test again and we'll see."

Until you have a clear rising pattern, it's just a wacky number.

Still, not what you wanted.

Emu uro said time to pull trigger on SRT when. Hit.06. RO agreed. I had nearly same readings and path.

So I had the followup with the uro today. He wants to move the testing from every year to every six months to see if it is still rising, so we agreed on that. If it is still rising six months from now, he asked me if I am receptive to salvage radiation treatment. I said absolutely. So I will forget about it for six months (or try to).
