I may have posted on this earlier this year--but I don't remember. My 33 yr old daughter had a large ovarian cyst, that proved to be malignant. She has been undergoing chemo, and her last chemo is Friday (yay!). She is facing additional surgery, probably in September, to have a complete hysterectomy and remove the other ovary--her onco doesn't think they find anything, but that's still the plan.

Wow, Hal, that's scary. How's she doing? Happy to hear she's successfully completing the chemo plan. Maybe younger people are able to handle that challenge better.

I'm sure you've been good support, having gone through your own experience with cancer.

Prayers for your daughter Hal, and hopefully the upcoming surgery will be uneventful. Chemo is a long haul, and she is a champion for enduring that... but she is extremely fortunate to have had this potentially very deadly form of cancer detected and treated early on.

I’m new enough to the site I missed your earlier posts about your daughter. I’m so sorry to hear she’s had to go through this. It’s especially disturbing because she so young and nobody should have to endure it at that age. But I am very glad to hear she is at the tail end of it and it sounds like a very good prognosis. I hope she continues to get good news and wish her and your family the very best. I hope you continue to update up on her progress.

My mother had ovarian cancer and I got PC. Its the reverse for you. I feel there is a connection between OC and PC between generations. It really sucks if that's the case as I have daughters.

Halbert, your daughter is on our prayer list. My daughter is almost the same age. . . I think I know how you feel.

She is lucky to have such an experienced support person on her side.
