Has anyone had sex during there 39 visits of SRT?

We are pretty active thanks to Trimix just wondering if having sex is a good thing or not? Dr said it was ok just asking if any others do during treatment.

If you can do it, do. There is no risk and every benefit.

Some get bad fatigue near the end of treatment which can be limiting factor.

But keep up the good work as long as you can.

I'm down to my last 9 SRT visits out of 34. I had asked my doc the same thing, and he said no problem with sex and sildenafil. My experience has been sex was OK for a few weeks, but I'm getting too fatigued to keep going, for now.

I would think the table would be rather hard and it would be difficult to focus the beam on such a moving target.

Oh wait, you mean between the visits...

I'm sure some guys do. No reason not to and it's probably good for them. But we high-risk guys are mostly above such things. Some claim our lofty disdain for the pleasures of the flesh during radiation treatments comes more from the chemical castration that goes along with the radiation treatments than from superior spiritual purity, but we find that explanation grindingly depressing and prefer to think of ourselves as unusually pious.

Very doable while getting SRT, but highly unlikely if you submit to hormones (ADT).

What does your RO look like? She may have had experience in a new '40 Buick coupe.

You do realize...PeterD...that superior spiritual purity ...actually enhances the libido...in this way...if I may...umm thank you...it goes like this(hey...Im a story teller...we always try to prolong...we are never alone that way} the joy of spirituality induces a jealousy of the flesh(it wants joy as well)...that is quite powerfull...and of course...the more we resist..'the stronger it becomes...and on and on...so many paradoxes...gots to navigate it...To directly answer the threader...there is a reason to sex...its better...the sex...id est... not to angst over the reason...with that...I prepare for a wonderful day... smurf EDIT...Ghandi used to sleep with young women so as to test his ability to resist...it is said he was successful at such...I believe he was...just to keep it honest...celibacy of flesh...does...imo...transform...sexual energy into spiritual energy...tho again imo...celibacy of word...may have have even more power...than anything...I have been unable to master that as yet...way too powerful

I did not have SRT but primary RT and had sex during the first few weeks of treatment until it became too painful. My RO said sex was okay during treatment and some pain was to be expected. Eventually it became too painful though. Even foreplay was painful.
