As I said in the other thread... WOW!!!
Wow is right, IMO! What prescript
ion meds are available, with all their expense and often also unwanted SEs, that can beat or even equal that? I'm thinking none. None can equal (for improving these supposedly important lab values) this way of eating that most authorities- even today- are telling us in really bad for us. I just saw a brand new news item today where a Harvard expert was declaring coconut oil deadly due to it's saturated fats. I won't be surprised if I see that on NBC nightly news.
But if saturated fats are so deadly, and if these lab tests are actually indicators of our health, then how is it that loading up on sat fats while cutting carbs can so drastically improve, in such a short time, the majority of these lab values? (and of course no one even measures insulin, which was probably changed as much or more than the other #s, but I suppose it is not really important
)
These doctrines from the establishment are very, very slow to change. The doctrine for 50 years has been "eat more carbs, less fat(USDA food pyramid), and especially avoid saturated fat like a plague." And "replace animal fat with various vegetable oils and even some transfats for good measure". People have pretty much tried to obey. And industry was glad to help by offering low fat, high carb products. So, of course, naturally enough, the obesity and diabetes rates have literally skyrocketed.
