Just received results from follow up test after PSA, after 9 mo. of < .010, had shown at .018. New results came back at .021! Know that discussions will follow with URO and RO on next step. I know I will want further monthly testing for additional data points but with my pathology I have pretty much decided that somewhere between .03 and .06 I will “pull the trigger” on SRT. Whether that includes ADT is the unknown. Know best option is to start ADT but the length of time (3 mo/6 mo/12 mo) is to be decided. As many know, I expect this will be a roller coaster ride of emotions.

IS, Sorry, this wasn’t the news you wanted, but probably not unexpected. It sounds like you are on the right track, particularly with your pathology. Good luck keep us posted.

That's not the result you wanted.

If you get one more rise, I'd be in the RO's office discussing options. There's a lot of debate around how much ADT to do. Get your RO's opinion on that.

Not the path you want to follow, but more treatment looks likely from here.

We have similar pathology and I was faced with the same decisions concerning rising PSA.

My team and I chose to add 6/month Lupron to my treatment plan. I'm a kitchen sink sort of guy.
First PSA post SRT&Lupron is 0.00 and waiting for my second test results sometime next week.
I'll post to my signature when they call with results.

Your plan sounds good. I agree that there is no need to do anything until after the PSA reaches 0.03. The nice thing about being treated at such low PSAs is that you may not need ADT with it.
