First post IMRT PSA test result

My first post IMRT / pre LDR test result is back.

I know the key item is nadir, and it can / should take time (searches indicate it's better to take longer than shorter to reach nadir).

It's hard to tell from the two Lupron data points of today's value is just a continuation of the Lupron curve, or if the Lupron curve flattens and now I'm on a Lupron + IMRT curve. Of course I have LDR (110 Gy) being implanted in 10 days.

I'm looking less for feedback on value (I'm a bit of the "it will be what it will be" mindset), but wanted to share with others that might be or will be mid-treatment.

You want a downward trend, which you have. Ideally you want a nadir <.50, which you have. You could still get to a lower point. Time will tell.

Right now it is the ADT that is having the most effect, but you are where you want to be. You probably won't get to undetectable, but some radiation/ADT guys have like myself.

With external beam radiation behind you and midway through ADT, things look very good. You should tolerate the seeds very well. This is a great combination for us high risk guys. I used a similar combination treatment 8 years ago and continue to pull undetectable PSA tests and have no negative treatment side effects.
