PSA 3 months after SRT

3 months after the end of my 34 treatments of salvage radiation. PSA is 0.2. That's better than it was before treatment, and I understand it could go down further. Wish it were lower though.

Well, down is definitely good. What does your RO think?

RT is the slow road. It can take a year or more to reach nadir.

Lower is the goal and you got that.

So far so good.

RO says "stable, please check again in 3/6 months".

I guess I will just wait.

Coming up on 10 years since the surgery!

Remember, for radiation patients, The trend is your friend. Your PSA may take an extended trip downward, so just watch the numbers. As long as it is a downward trend, or is stable, things are working as planned.

We won't even discuss an upward trend at this time, as you are unlikely to go there. . .
